Community
Ocho Rios Jerk Spot has established a partnership with the Afro-Caribbean Cultural Association of Arizona. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to give back to the community. Collectively, we are creating a space that cultivates music, food, entertainment, community outreach and community engagement. You can find everything Caribbean here; authentic Jamaican cuisine, exotic cocktails, live entertainment, Caribbean Brunch, Caribbean parties, festivals and more! Without the hard work, dedication and support of our family, friends, staff and patrons, we would not be here today.
Feeding The Homeless
Throughout the year, we donate meals to the homeless in our area. On Thanksgiving, we set up tables and chairs in a restaurant dine in setting and we obtain volunteers to take everyone’s orders and personally serve their meals. The homeless population are humans too, therefore we wait on them as if they are dining as well.
If you would like to volunteer or donate towards our efforts in feeding the homeless, please contact [email protected] or call 646-600-5510.
Halloween Trunk or Treat
In 2021, we hosted our first ever Children’s Halloween Trunk or Treat. We were expecting 150 children and ended up providing candy to over 500 children in the Phoenix area. In 2022, we more than doubled that number and provided candy to over 1300 children in our community. We partnered with Grace Church, Sober Lounge and other business partners in order to provide candy, popcorn, hot dogs, refreshments and a bounce house for the children.
This is a FREE annual event that we host. If you would like to support our Halloween Trunk or Treat Efforts as a volunteer, sponsor or to provide donations, please contact [email protected] or call 646-600-5510.
